CGA has four member types:

(1) Technical members are geologists and hydrologists, engineers and other scientific professionals.

(2) Manufacturers and Suppliers provide groundwater equipment and other products.

(3) Contractors include water well drillers and pump specialists.

(4) Governmental members are employees and elected officials of all federal, state, county and local governmental entities or of California special districts.

The California Groundwater Association provides information regarding members' products and services to inquiring homeowners, water agencies, specification writers, and others in need of groundwater professionals.
